"I'm being considered as a partner of my advertising company. My boss Jackie who you met has a two-day yacht trip planned for the three candidates. She wants to see how we interact, and she wants us to pitch our ideas for building the company in a nice relaxed, atmosphere. When she met you last night, she got the wrong impression. She thinks we are dating, and that I'm keeping you a secret. She wants you to accompany me on the trip. I tried to explain that you couldn't make it, but she won't take no for an answer," explained Taryn who was feeling out of breath as she talked so fast.

"So, did you just explain that we're not dating?" asked Chad with a twinkle of merriment in his eyes.

"I tried, but she thinks I'm keeping you a secret. She wouldn't believe me if I told her that," sighed Taryn.

"Let me see if I understand. You basically need me. Well, this is a funny situation. Here's the deal. If you want me to take off two days from work to help you get a promotion, then I'm not going to pretend to be your boyfriend, I'm going to BE your boyfriend for those two days. That means that I can hold your hand, give you a hug, rub your back, and kiss you whenever I want. This will be fun," grinned Chad.

Taryn gasped. You could see the wheels turning in her mind. Chad was just standing there with a smirk.
