Aditya Mishra is Assistant Professor in Sociology in the Department of Sociology, Central University of Odisha, India. He is the author of numerous edited volumes, monographs, and journal articles. Aditya's main research interests lie in the sociology of development, where his work contributes to the discourse on sociology of environment and sustainable development, natural resource management, rural sociology, sociology of health and illness, and contemporary socioeconomic and political issues.
