Autorenporträt
Prof. Calderaro is Full Professor of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma. She is the Director of the Unit of Clinical Microbiology and the Director in charge of the Unit of Clinical Virology at the University Hospital of Parma. Her research focus includes bacteriology (microbacteria, spirochaetes), parasitology (plasmodia, Toxoplasma gondii, intestinal protozoa), virology (hepatitis, gastroenteric, respiratory viruses). Prof. Calderaro has authored 498 scientific publications in national and international journals, scientific books, and publications at national and international scientific congresses as invited speaker.
