Adrienne joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in 1982 and travelled to Hawaii to study at the Discipleship Training School at Kailua-Kona on the Big Island. After three months of study she embarked on a three-month outreach trip to Asia with a group which took in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and the Philippines. The outreach consisted of teaching, praying for the sick, ship ministry, visiting an orphanage and a mental hospital, as well as presenting theatrical presentations depicting certain stories in the Bible. One of the most memorable of these was ministering to a village north of Chang-Mai in the northern part of Thailand and taking Bibles into China. After returning to Australia she joined YWAM in Canberra and enrolled in a Biblical Counselling Course which took her to Indonesia for a two-month outreach to Bali, Surabaya and Djakarta. She stayed on campus voluntarily as Secretary to the National Director for approximately 12 months. After leaving YWAM, she accepted a position in a Minister's office at Parliament House, Canberra. From there she held various public positions including a Trainer of commercial subjects, running her own business and Executive Assistant positions in various Government Departments and private enterprise. During these times her passion has always been missionary work, pastoral care and preaching. She has had the opportunity to deliver short talks at Cursillo (Anglican Church Women's week-end seminars) and has led a ladies' ministry and Christian fellowship groups. Adrienne has been fortunate to speak at Outreaches for those requiring shelter and food and has also been a Pastoral Care Worker. In 2008 Adrienne wrote her first book "Pastoral Care - A Practical Guide to Show God's Love" and in 2012 her second book "Breaking Free" was published. Adrienne has also written a children's book which has not yet been published.
