Autorenporträt
Karen J. Leong is Associate Professor of History at University of New Mexico. Her research explores what Asian American experiences reveal about the historical dynamic between U.S. national ideologies and the power of self-definition at the intersections of gender, race, class, and sexuality. Kathy Nakagawa is Associate Professor of Asian Pacific American studies in the School of Social Transformation. Her research explores issues of inequity in education including the relationship between families and schools, parent involvement and school reform, charter schools, family literacy programs and racial literacy. Aggie J. Yellow Horse is Associate Professor of Asian Pacific American Studies in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on understanding how larger social forces "get under skin" to generate health inequities for racialized and minoritized peoples.
