Essentially, the book aims at taking fish farmers and marketers in Nigeria to the height of modern fish marketing in order for them to compete favorably with their counterparts in other parts of the world.

Dr. Ahmadu Tafida hails from Kaltungo LGA of Gombe State. He obtained his Ph. D degree in Rural Development at Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola in 2010. He has worked with several international projects and served as a National Consultant-Livelihood specialist with FAO-UN. He is a Principal Research Officer at NIFFR, New Bussa.
