Application of Improved Strategies Enhancing Plant Practices: A Case Study is an attempt to explore and diagnose the problems associated with a Transformer manufacturing plant and give proper solutions to the prevailing ones. The transformer is essentially a static electromagnetic device that works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The main purpose of a power or distribution transformer is to transfer electric power from one voltage level to another. Failure of one transformer may cause long interruptions in supply, costly repairs and loss of revenue. It is therefore highly desirable to detect incipient failure as early as possible.
