The aim of OSCE in teaching is safely to help students gain more confidence when confronted by technical instruments present in the hospital environment, and to encourage them to reflect on a range of skills and competences they need to acquire. Station designer needs to prepare, create and carry an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). Therefore, the most important stages in building OSCE exam is restructuring process, particularly in discipline like Psychiatry where structuring of therapeutic intervention in certain point is the most difficult task . So in this manual we tried to transfer our experience in the preparation and assessment of OSCEs Exam in assessing the skills of psychiatric nursing students. Some details of exam construction, logistic as well as sample of OSCEs stations was provided.
