Kathleen Rogan is originally from Bowie, Maryland, and studied Early Childhood Education at the U of MD in College Park. For a brief time, she was a kindergarten teacher at a public school in Prince George's County, MD., but later, she transitioned into home education when she started a family and moved to New York. On top of being a home educator to her six kids for 26 years, she is a volunteer leader and teen mentor through Young Life. With them, she shares the love of God and encourages them to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ. She resides in Western New York with her two sons, their spunky Malamute, and her incredible husband, Rick.
