Calcareous nannofossils classification of Jaddala Formation (type section)Northwestern Iraq. A Detailed systematic study of calcareous nannofossils for the lithological stratigraphical sequences has been carried out for the following Jaddala Formation (Ypresian - Lutetian) in type section, near Jaddala village at the southern limb of Sinjar Anticline, northwestern Iraq. Two hundered species belong to thirty eight genera of calcareous nannofossils have been identified including a hundered and fifty nine previously named and nineteen species of similar to species previously named and twenty species were identified for the first time, they would not be given names until more information is obtained in the future to support this identification. Two new species are recorded Chiasmolithus Jaddalaensis sp.nov. and Tribrachiatus sinjarensis sp.nov. from surface type section Jaddala Formation, identified as the age of the first species Chiasmolithus Jaddalaensis Middle Eocene (Lutetian), while the age of the second species Tribrachiatus sinjarensis determined the top of the Early to Middle Eocene (Ypresian, Lutetian).
