Autorenporträt
Albert Allegue is Catholic writer, lay theologian and a former Special Agent in the United States Air Force. He has earned a bachelor's degree from Florida States University, a master's degree from Troy State University, and is a Ph.D., student with Liberty University, a Christian based university. Allegue was born in Cuba and escaped the communist regime in 1961. Al was raised in the Catholic faith, attending Catholic grade school and then public high school. In his late teen years, Al fell away from the practice of his faith, but still felt a tugging to return. After serving 20 years in the military, Al began and retired from a career as a franchisee real estate broker. He is married to his wife, Dee, who converted to Catholicism in 2017. Al and Dee are the parents of three children and have been blessed with 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Al has been active in the Catholic Church and now serves as his parish Liturgy Director, a Lector, Extra Ordinary Eucharistic Minister, an Usher, and a Knight of Columbus of the 3rd and 4th Degree. He teaches to RCIA candidates and writes Catholic apologetics articles. Sitting in the pews Al realized of the importance of reminding Catholics to deepen the knowledge of our faith as well as properly preparing new candidates to Catholicism. Al removes the vail of mystery sometimes outsiders to the Catholic religion perceive.
