Water is undoubtedly of great importance in the evolution of both living and non-living nature. It is necessary for the normal course of physiological processes in the body. The basis of hygienic requirements for the quality of water for drinking and domestic needs is the principle that focuses on the quality of water, on which human health and living conditions depend. Research has shown that water is an open, dynamic, structurally complex system in which the stationary state is easily disturbed by any external influence. The fact is that the water molecule has the ability to form hydrogen bonds. Simply put, to create "hydrogen bridges" (associates) with which it can touch other water molecules. In this work, the authors propose to consider the non-reagent mechanical effect on liquid media - vibrational hydrocavitation for disinfection of water streams and changing the properties of water taken from various sources with the development of structures of vibrating machines, determination of their drive modes and creation of their design methodology. The monograph will be useful for scientists, graduate students, practitioners, and students of applied mechanics.
