Scientific research produced in universities and research centers is often disseminated through print media as scientific articles, reports, master's theses, and PhD's dissertations. In general the language used by the researchers is quite specific and difficult to understand by the non-specialist public, such as ordinary citizens, rulers or even researchers from other areas of knowledge unfamiliar with the subject. The methodology was based on the use of the Analytical Reading, Annotations, Script and Screenplay to transpose a scientific article in Geosciences in the video language. The results showed that the proposed methodology was adequate for video production and that the video language is more appropriate for diffusion of scientific knowledge in Geosciences to non-specialized public than the print media as scientific articles.
