Along with the administration of President D. Trump, the US is undergoing a change in policy and the economy. Especially the year 2018 is an important time for this change. For understanding the changing processes in the USA, it is necessary to study in detail the economic crises experienced in the U.S. and developments of the world economy. The first crisis to be noted at this point is the 1929 crisis. 1929 World Depression was a major crisis, and it influenced and changed the whole World. Another similar breakdown, crisis, and transformation occurred in the 1970s. From a point of view, we lived the derivates of the 1970s in the 2000s. In this context, our research focused on capital movements, the translocation of production and global trends. In the first chapter of the book, the issue of foreign trade base and translocation of production in the world economy was discussed. In the second chapter, the Chinese economy, which was the main focus of world capitalism in the process of production translocation, was examined. In the third chapter, production capital, financial capital relations, and crises and the period till to 2018, experienced by the world economy were examined.

Ali Osman Balkanl¿ works as Ass. Professor in Economics at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Istanbul University. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences and then continued his masters and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics. His research areas are related to international economics and macroeconomics.
