Socrates, the famous philosopher, was born and raised in Athens, a city that was the center of learning and thought in the ancient Greek world. Socrates spoke a lot about morality and justice in daily life, drawing his ideas from writings such as Hesiod's Works and Days. He believed that man cannot achieve happiness without virtue, and that justice is not just a law but a sublime value. He was influenced by ideas taken from works such as Hesiod's Works and Days, and linked wisdom and moral behavior. His deep belief in the truth made him not fear death, as he saw in it a new beginning for discovering the truth. Socrates' life ended when he was convicted of corrupting the youth and denying the gods of the city, so he chose to drink poison of his own free will, refusing to give up his principles.
