Autorenporträt
Alissa Deeter is an associate professor in applied voice and vocal pedagogy at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and graduate coordinator for its voice pedagogy certificate. She has become a leader in optimizing a "form follows function" approach to singing. She is a regular presenter and clinician at conferences and academic institutions nationwide and regularly publishes on her areas of expertise. Robert Peavler serves as associate professor of voice at Eastern Michigan University. An active clinician and performer, he is a leading advocate of the American art song tradition. His debut solo recording From the Heartland (Troy 1349) was released in January 2012 and features the world premiere recordings of Kirke Mechem's "From the Heartland" and Dominic Argento's "Three Sonnets of Petrarch."
