Reason for choice this subject for thesis; seismic evaluation of tall building with impact damper in near field earthquakes. The near-field earthquakes have a high amplitude vibration that to check seismic evaluation of tall building with impact damper to reduce amplitude vibration using non-linear time history analysis. Also changes parameters of impact damper (mi, d, and e) to receive a maximum reduce displacement story was evaluated. For doing research, first get the 7th records of every near and far field earthquakes from Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) and totally 14th records of near and far field records that scales to Tehran spectrum, analysis and model started. Finally, on compared differences in results of SDOF system with impact damper that modeled on SAP2000 software is %6 than the experimental model.
