Major findings of the study include respondents suffer from loss of confidence with regard to use of technology, heart disease, and musculoskeletal disorders.Key sources of techno stress in the workplace are: increased management expectation in adoption of IT, lack of co-ordination among depts, migration to a technologically advanced library, lack of documented training resources, lack of professional staff and less involvement in decision making process. Majority of the respondents look forward to learn technology.Ergonomic factors and personality type of the respondents have significant influence on techno stress. Coping strategies are suggested to overcome techno stress which includes a special forum exclusively for the engg college library professionals & continuous learning.
