High-pressure investigations of materials have been shown to be a valuable tool concerning the synthesis of new compounds with fascinating structures and outstanding properties. Almut Pitscheider, geb. Haberer, studierte von 2002 bis 2008 Chemie an der LMU München und promovierte 2011 in Anorganischer Festkörperchemie an der Universität Innsbruck unter Betreuung von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Hubert Huppertz.
