Autorenporträt
The author was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 7, 1929, and grew up in Chicago and Providence, Rhode Island. He studied Engineering at the University of Rhode Island after a brief stint in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, during which he requested to go to radar school, inspiring his future career. He worked full time as a principal engineer until he retired at age 82, after which he started work on this biography of his grandfather.
