"After spending five years as a professed religious in the Society of Mary (the Marists), Doctor Deegan enjoyed a successful career as a strategic planner for corporations and religious organizations. Now retired, his recent books include Bread of Life Discourse, a meditation on chapter 6 of St. John's gospel, and The Appearances of the Risen Christ, an examination of twelve times Jesus appeared before His ascension. As a Bible study leader, he tries to help readers mine new insights from oft-read passages of the Bible. He, his wife, and family reside in Florida.
