The book is committed to the understanding of the concept of Social Exclusion highlighted in literature in the erstwhile century. The concept found to be naturally embedded in the history of the world civilizations. The present itself bears the witness of the exclusion of one social group or the other at the time of informational-ism. The act of comprehension about the politics of inclusion and exclusion is the need of the time. The book presents the micro-level study focusing upon the comparison of social exclusion of Hindu Dalits and Muslim Shah community living at the margins of a particular village in India. The book will facilitate the students, researchers and the general readers for developing the understanding about the causes of marginalization and well-being. In this book my aim is to find out the social exclusion of people living at the periphery to which Manual Castells calls it the 'Fourth World'.
