This book is based on an economic analysis of production and marketing of bottle gourd under contract vis-à-vis non-contract farming in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan. In this book (i) Costs and returns structure and resource use efficiency (ii) Effect of contract farming on the production and price of bottle gourd on contract farms in (iii) Yield and price uncertainties involved in the production of bottle gourd on contract and non-contract farms and (iv) Problems faced by the contract farmers and the contracting firm under contract farming of bottle gourd in Jaipur district of Rajasthan was studied. This study helps the farmers to reducing the cost of cultivation, increasing the production level using cost concept and B:C ratio.
