Born in Dec 1956, in Orissa (India), did his MBBS from Burla,Sambalpur, Orissa in Apr 1980 as best outgoing student.He did his masters in surgery from AFMC, in 1987.He is trained in GI Surgery at AIIMS (New Delhi) under Dr Samiran Nandy .He has been working in various tertiary care hospital and doing almost 400- 500 surgercal procedure every year.
