As a result the researchers was identified the basic problem of pepper production at the area and found that potyvirus and aphid vectors are the major challenge of pepper production.Therefor, the researcher was conducted the experiment in collaboration to the local farmer found intercropping of pepper with maize is the best to control potyvirus and aphid vectors and to increase the pepper production at the location.Farmers were satisfied by the result and they are implementing the research result. Know pepper production is rising by using maize as intercropping.

The author was born on October, 1985 at Guragha Zone,Ethiopia. After the completion of his secondary education. He joined to Haramaya University in September 2006 and graduated with Bachelor of Science Degree in Crop Production and Protection in July 2008. In 2009, he joined to Hawassa University to pursue his M.Sc in crop Protection.
