The quality seed played an important role in deciding the performance of the crop. Considering the high demand of seed by farmer's supply of quality seed at reasonable price is a major objective of seed technology. In order to exploit yield potentiality of varieties, adequate and balanced plant nutrition is must for enhancing the seed yield and seed quality per unit area and there by reduces the production cost. The experiment was carried out at C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. I hope that technology developed will be useful for the farmers, researchers and extension workers. The information generated may be used for further advanced research.
