Gloria Averbuch is the author of 13 books on sports (running, soccer), health and fitness. Her books have been translated into a number of languages and have received various recognitions and awards. Averbuch is particularly proud that The Vision of a Champion, which has been reprinted numerous times, has been highly-praised by soccer coaches and players in the U.S. and worldwide. Her daughters are lifelong soccer players: one a professional with U.S. National Team experience and a two-time National Champion at the University of Carolina; the other, a former youth national player, is currently an executive with Major League Soccer (MLS).
