The history of the cultural evolution of human species,in general,is considered as the history of embedded systems. Embedded systems, a central feature for all scientific and technological activities, plays a vital role in all aspects of human endeavor.With the advent of a microprocessors, microcontrollers, microcomputers, the development of embedded based measurement system has got good gain.The studies of physical parameters of polymers play an important role in understanding the nature and behavior of molecular interactions mixtures of polymers.These studies are possible through the measurement of parameters like viscosity, EC,surface tension and temperature etc.No doubt,several investigators developed the conventional techniques for measurement of these parameters, both analog and digital. But the attempts to design and develop the embedded based systems are rather scarce particularly in India though they offer many advantages.Hence, in the present study, an attempt is made to design and develop a embedded based system (raspberry pi) for measurement of viscosity, electrical conductivity, surface tension and temperature of synthetic polymer behavior of certain polymers.

Dr. B. Ashraf Ahamed, He obtained his M.Sc degree(2007) from S.K.Universty,AP,India,M.Tech(2010) from Achary Nagarjuna University,Guntur and Ph.D.(2016) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University. He has published 10 research publications in International & National Journals. His current field of research is embedded systems,IOT and Robotics.
