The demand for modern and innovative high performance cement material is increasing to help the construction industries across the world. In this book, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) were used as a reinforcement alternative at the nanoscale in cement paste. The fracture phenomena and micro-cracking behavior of hybrid CNTs/GNPs cement composites subjected to a three-point bending loading was investigated and monitored by acoustic emission technique. In addition to it, dispersion level by UV-vis spectroscopy, and micro-structure properties by scanning electron microscopy of hybrid CNTs/GNPs cement composites were studied. The result of this book can provide some interesting reference for the engineering application and also for the similar academic research.
