ASHTON HARRISON lives in Richmond, Virginia, is married, and has 2 children, 2 stepchildren, and 2 grandchildren. With an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Richmond, her career spanned from owning her own business at age 16, to teaching in public schools, to working as a VP at a rapidly growing furniture company, to starting and owning her own multi-million dollar lighting and catalog business, Shades of Light. She has won business awards, authored business articles, designed numerous lighting products, is often quoted in her industry and has spoken on many panels. She has appeared on the Christopher Lowell show and NBC's New York Open House. Here she tells the story of her own company's journey through good times and bad under the sporadic leadership of an ADD personality and how she finally found help to get to her "end game."
