Phallon Perry is a writer of children's literature, short stories, and poetry. Like a Butterfly is her third children's book and was written in collaboration with her daughter, Autumn. The purpose of this story is to help children cope with the absence of a loved one, while also helping them to see the love that surrounds them. As a native of Baltimore, MD, Phallon is most passionate about telling stories of children who are often underrepresented or misrepresented in literature.
