Bioethics is a study of the ethical issues emerging from advances in biology and medicine. Bioethics is a branch of applied ethics that deals with the philosophical, social, and legal issues arising in medicine and life sciences. Bioethics is mainly concerned with human life and well-being, though it sometimes also treats ethical questions relating to nonhuman biological environment (like environmental ethics, animal rights etc).
