B. C. Schönwandt grew up in the country with her loving family. She has 4 brothers and one sister. Her family was very close with loving grandparents, cousins and best friend Kim Miller to share exciting experiences with. These adventures continued to spark her imagination through the years. She has had a passion for writing since the young age of eight years old. She has always aspired to write a novel and was finally able to complete that dream in 2015 with her first mystery novel. She credits much of her love for literature and writing to her parents, and recalls fondly the memories of her mother reading to her nightly and her father's vivacious storytelling of Bernadette the Thing. Her writing style developed and matured over the years with her explorations in poetry and daily journal, depicting the adventures of her day-to-day life. She currently continues her love of reading, writing and storytelling at her home, outside of Toronto, where she resides with her husband and three children.
