Dr. V. Bharathi is currently working as Assistant Professor (Microbiology) at Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture (Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University), Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. She has identified a new species of Actinomycetes namely, ¿Streptomyces parvulus SDMRI-3¿ which will be highly useful in pharmaceutical industry.
