This report mainly focuses on the technical feasibility of knitting of filament silk and spun silk yarns. Filament silk and spun silk yarn knitted with different design knit structures had been analysed and the most of the test results show that the silk knitted fabrics give good performance in knitting. This study will definitely useful to the industrialists, academicians and students to develop a different product with use of silk materials.
