Former News Corporation journalist and multiple award-winning sports writer Boti Nagy is a five-time nominee for Basketball Australia's Hall of Fame for his contribution to the sport, and was inducted last year into the Basketball SA Hall of Fame. He previously has written three critically-acclaimed books on basketball, "High Flyers," "Mahervellous! The Brett Maher Story" and "A Type of Life" his memoir in the sport. Starting his career at the keyboard as a 15-year-old contributor to South Australia's weekly "Messenger" newspaper, Nagy secured a cadetship with News Corporation in 1974.
