Autorenporträt
Bob Rains started his career in the entertainment industry on April 1, 1946 with International Pictures, a small independent company that released its films through R.K.O. Mr. Rains saw all of the changes, both at Universal and in Hollywood, from his vantage point in the publicity, promotion, and advertising department, except for a brief stint as Assistant Head of Casting. It was from this unique perspective that he gathered together the stories of the Hollywood he knew, and wrote them down in "Beneath the Hollywood Tinsel."
