Autorenporträt
Bonnie L. Baird is an Anglican priest currently living and working along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The stories contained in this book reflect experiences gleaned from more than two decades of working in two dioceses and five parishes, as a student minister, as a deacon, as a parish priest and fleetingly as an archdeacon. In her spare time Bonnie enjoys walking, spending time with her son and two little grandsons and a Siamese cat named Cleo. Recently she has turned her attention to writing again. Other books include I Smell Stars: poems about the last 12 years of a marriage; Walk Me to the Door, Love: notes written to the Beloved in the first two years of grief; Lightening Strikes: poems about complicated family relationships; and Close to the Undertow: poems about the practice of ministry. CDs are available for the first two books of poetry mentioned.
