This book helps to understand the impact of Farmer Producer Companies on small and marginal farmers. it aims to find out the status of Farmer Producer Companies in India also in Maharashtra. It also helps researchers to suggest policy measures at the micro and macro level. The book reveals that the farmers under FPCs are not getting adequate support from the FPCs. The latest FPCs are providing services out of which marketing, value addition and pre-harvest services are good, agricultural advisory services, technological services are poor and capacity building and credit access services are very poor as well. In this book, the "ACITM" model has developed to develop and strengthen the FPCs and also farmers to forward their capacities. In India farming is becoming a very difficult job and most of the farmers are leaving under stressful condition. Government and civil society is fighting to address the problem with a number of schemes and other innovative initiatives. Formation of FPCs is one such initiative which is trying to address farmer's problems by bringing them to a collective forum.
