Many people describe Beth as lively, soulful, and humorous, and she would agree. She'd also add in curious and a champion of the underdog. Crisscrossing the planet to document stories in nearly twenty countries, Beth is an award-winning journalist whose exposés include the plight of Chernobyl's radiation-poisoned children and at-risk prostitutes in the Philippines. Beth has authored and co-authored several books, including Lifting Our Eyes: Finding God's Grace through the Virginia Tech Tragedy (2007, Berkeley Trade), Two Days Longer: Discovering More of God as You Wait for Him (2006, Howard), and reflective commentary and practical study tools for the Women of Faith Study Bible. Beth is also a Cru alumni staff member and former editor of Worldwide Challenge and Clarity magazines. As founder and director of MacBeth Communications, Beth writes and edits for several companies, ministries, and nonprofits. Beth speaks about faith and resiliency and is a comeback coach and pet therapy volunteer. A Nebraska native now living in Colorado, Beth admires the simple things in life: nature's beauty, fresh coffee, deep conversations, and long walks with her collie.
