The Buddhists believe that the First Noble Truth is suffering. To live is to suffer, or so they say. In my efforts to try and understand this life, I have realized that life is nothing more than a dream. We all have to suffer something in this lifetime, and in doing so, we have a choice in the way we accept our very own suffering. There isn't a soul on this planet that has not had to suffer something, be it illness, loss, hardship of some kind, war, destruction, or loneliness. In my own quest to find my own inner peace, I have taken to the Art of Nothing. I have stopped searching to fill the void, and in contrast have tried, as best I could to come to terms with the loneliness that has been the only thing that never seems to leave me alone. To live is to suffer. How you suffer is a choice. Choose well. - BeatriceHinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
If life is a game, then I would say it is a spectator's sport, at least for me. I am constantly wondering what if anything this life is about. I am interested and amazed by people; we all have our story to tell. This book is a glimpse into my story, my thoughts, my mind. The pages here within communicate what I believe is my story, my truth. In writing this book, I have come to terms with a restlessness that has haunted me my entire life, a loneliness that I can't seem to shake. Yet in that loneliness, I have found some freedom and an inner peace that I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share. I was born and raised just north of Toronto, Canada. I have had the good fortune and pleasure of traveling to many beautiful places across Canada and around the world. And through my travels, my passion for people and this world was reignited. I share my thoughts, my pictures, and my passion with you.
