The study revealed that school - community partnership in full cycle primary school of Derra Woreda was at medium level but one-way communication. Schools practices in involving families and communities in decision making, communication and parenting involvement program had better practice relatively with other involvement program. But volunteering activities in most school had least participation or low involvement. Though, areas of improvement were found out on; using mother tongue as a medium of instruction, expansion of schools to address education to every community members and increase of girls' enrollment rate. But, low level of disabilities school participation, practice of females early marriage and lack of interest to send females to school by some community members were activities which needs attention from multicultural perspectives. Moreover, absence of clear policies on community involvement, absence of well skilled man power, high level of illiteracy of the community, the distance between parents residence and school as well as lack of competence and frequent absence of PTA and KETMB members were barriers in school and community partnership program.
