Benjamin Constantine, aka Benjamin Sea, aka Plump Oyster, has been coming into his own since 2006. Paintings, stream-of-consciousness comic art and bold illustration make up his extensive body of work, each piece filled to the brim with minute details and hidden portals. Continuously seeping into new directions as it progresses, his work is expressive and unique, carrying Constantine's signature dark and mysterious flavour with it wherever it goes. Although adept with a good pen, Constantine's art is created mostly by hand with brush, ink and paint, with a touch of Photoshop thrown in for good measure. His illustration and comic art has appeared in US anthologies such as Beasts! 2, Secret Prison and Rabid Rabbit and has been recently featured by various esteemed titles including VICE, Juxtapoz and Hi-Fructose magazine.
