This collection of vintage photographs also covers the Railroad, which was important to the development of the area, and the Interurban, which made travel much easier to Cleveland, Toledo, Detroit and Sandusky.

Author Bill Drown is a local historian and has served on the board of Historic Lyme Village for much of its existence. He also served as the East Ohio Conference Archivist of the United Methodist Church for 25 years and is now the conference historian. Bill is the head of the Bishop John Seybert/Flat Rock Area Cluster Heritage Landmark of the United Methodist Church.
