Autorenporträt
Author Blaise Harris was born in Atlanta, Georgia in the summer of 92' and was raised by his heroic mother - Ms. Barbara Pough. Actually, here's what Ms. Pough or "mama" says about her son, "I will say the worst thing in the world that could happen to my son, going to prison, turned out to be the best thing for him. I believe Blaise is a leader now. I believe he wants to be righteous. I know he knows and loves the Lord, and Blaise even encourages me." Blaise is also a loving father to his beautiful daughter Ava Kara Harris. Blaise Harris was inspired to write Mama Bird, Baby Bird: Leap of Faith and a several other children's books while he was incarcerated in prison. His leading aspiration is to help shape the mindset of inner city youth so that they won't find themselves imprisoned by their mind or their environment. In his spare time, Blaise Harris enjoys meditating, playing basketball, journaling, and writing books and poems. Mr. Harris also spends his time learning Spanish, Entrepreneurship, and other useful skills in the career center in his facility. Blaise is on track to receive an Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies and is a Lead Mentor in his facility's Faith & Character program. Through faith, wisdom, and the unyielding favor of God, Blaise Harris has been able to rebuild destroyed interpersonal relationships, bring about new and better opportunities in his life, and most important of all, find peace within himself knowing his latter days will be greater.
