Autorenporträt
Bio. Inge Blanton was born on January 2, 1937 in Augsburg, Germany. She is married to Waldo La Rue Blanton of Noble, Oklahoma. She married him during his tour of duty with the Armed Forces in Germany. They have 7 children, all of who have attended Noble's public school during Waldo's tours of duty in Korea and Viet Nam. Retiring for active duty the Blanton's settled in Noble where 5 of her children graduated from Noble high school. Following in her children's path in getting educated, she earned her GED and graduated from Oklahoma University in 1994. Inge is a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation and the Norman Galaxy of Writers. Her 2004 Christmas story "The Best Christmas Ever" was printed in the Norman Transcript's Christmas Story Contest. Writing, Inge said, has been a lifelong passion that until recently the mother of seven wasn't able to pursue. Learning how to properly speak English wasn't easy, but learning how to properly write, punctuate and include grammatical components, presented altogether a new challenge for her. Most of my children and my son's wives have become involved in helping with my stories. The Antarean Odyssey covers 8 books. The first book, The Labors of Jonathan, in not just a story about an undercover, international, alien-driven conspiracy, but also a people story, she said.
