The world is fast-paced--why isn't God? In a society conditioned for instant gratification, we're startled--even frustrated--when anything tests our patience or requires us to wait. For the Christian, it's crucial to consider how this rapid tempo of living can distort spiritual living, steal joy, and threaten faith when we find ourselves waiting on God. On Waiting Well invites you to reimagine waiting as both a crucial part of following God and a beautiful opportunity to experience His faithfulness. Bradley Baurain confronts society's expectations with biblical truth to help you see your waiting experiences as more than dry seasons to be endured. Discover how waiting is a privilege, a pleasure, and a step toward understanding God's boundless love for you. "Brad Baurain has written a marvelous book on the important Christian virtue of waiting. . . . The result is a devotional book of the highest order." -Leland Ryken, Emeritus Professor of English at Wheaton College and author of nearly sixty books
