Braylon Edwards is the only wide receiver in Big Ten history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in three consecutive years. As a senior at Michigan, he received the Fred Biletnikoff Award and unanimous All-American and Big Ten's Most Valuable Player honors. The third overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, Braylon played eight years in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle Seahawks. He made the ProBowl after catching 80 passes for 1,289 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2007. Braylon resides in West Bloonfield, Michigan. Tom VanHaaren has covered college football and recruiting for ESPN since 2011. A Michigan native, Tom started his career in 2009, focusing on Michigan Wolverines football and recruiting, and previously authored The Road to Ann Arbor: Incredible Twists and Improbable Turns Along the Michigan Recruiting Trail. Tom, his wife, Laura, and their three children currently reside in southeast Michigan.
