Volume One of a poetry collective following the path of confusion, emotional bottoms, and recovery. Children often hold onto more things than we realize, and these traumatic experiences tend to shape more than just the child's responses to triggers. It is a complete brain alteration, often bringing one's own sanity into question. How can the world be kind when we know it to be so cruel? Why is it that we were the ones subjected to cruelty?

Autorenporträt
Breanna Laws is an author and poet who hopes to use her writing as a means to tell stories that may have never been told otherwise. She is a cat lover, a horror movie enthusiast, and an avid user of the word "radtastical". Most importantly, though, Breanna is a human, experiencing the world just as anyone else. But she believes that the mundanity of everyday life is really only mundane if you wish to interpret it that way. After committing to sobriety and dedicating herself to personal recovery, she hopes to share just a little part of her story with others. After all, what are we, if not just a few little people wanting to be seen?
