Author Brenda Joyce Leahy is an author and retired lawyer who lives in Calgary. She was raised on a farm in southern Alberta with stories about her colourful grandfather, Wildhorse Jack. Brenda's first novel, The Art of Rebellion, was also inspired by her family history. Artist Melissa Bruglemans-LaBelle is most famous for her coffee paintings, but she works in a variety of styles and media. A born-and-bred Alberta girl, she has also painted hundreds of Stampede-themed windows! A two-time art school grad, Melissa lives in Airdrie with her husband and two boys.
